CAUTION FLAG IS OUT!

BEWARE! NEWFOUND LAKE HAZARD!

Please be aware that Newfound and area lakes and ponds are not safe. The enormous hole in the ice in the center of the lake between Bell Island and Whittemore Point is growing daily. It is not safe to ride up anywhere on Newfound Lake or any other local body of water. Below is the first photo we had of the hole in the lake, taken around February 12th; more recent photos are on our Home Page.

Trail status

March 5 - Trails in the upper elevations are open. Trails are limited to Hebron Village. Newfound Lake and other local ponds and lakes are not safe. Do not cross any pond or lake. See trail report for details.

Turkey Supper

March 13, 2010: Turkey Supper

5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Hebron Village Church
$8.00 Adults / $4.00 under 10 yrs.
Menu - turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, squash, boiled onions,

string beans, rolls, assorted desserts, coffee and soda

Both OUTDOOR PERFORMANCE (in Bridgewater), and NEWFOUND SALES AND TRADING POST (in Bristol location only), have applications on hand with the NHSA cards you need to register right there. As always, you can go to the JOIN US page and register by mail as well.
