Hardy Country Trails Reopened!
Higher elevations of Hardy Country have snow!
March 6th Update: After last week's snowfall, the higher elevations of Hardy Country have received enough snow for trails to be rolled and colder night temps allowed all night grooming on Friday to Saturday morning. Some trails have over 20" of snow - warmer day temperatures may turn trails soft but high country riding is good on most trails.
Late season conditions with soft spots, thin snow and occasional washouts exist. The groomers have been trimming fallen trees and brush but be alert for hazards.
Note that some trails are partially closed. The only trail usable in the Hebron Village Store area is Rt 24W up to Hobart Hill. Rt 24W is traversible to Rt 118. Rt 24 trail down to AutoAir Plus is good only until foot of mountain at Route 3A, do not travel further south past AutoAir towards Hebron Village.
Lower elevations have bare fields which are not suitable for riding; please refrain from riding on bare fields! Lack of respect for landowners property could result in trails being closed next year.
For more details call Miles Sinclair at 603-744-3831 or Bill Sargent at 603-744-3192. Remember that they may be out grooming.
